The Finance Department provides various government and business-type services for the City of Mendota. They include the City’s utility billing, business license, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting and government accounting.

The City accepts payments at City Hall by front counter, drop-off box and mail-in payments. We accept cash, money order, personal checks and debit/credit card payments for utility billing, business license, and Building & Planning Department related items. However, we only accept cash, money order or debit/credit card payments for police services and other City services, no personal checks are accepted for these services.

Our office is open Monday through Wednesday and Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm. On Thursdays the office is open from 9:00am – 5:00pm (closed 8:00am – 9:00am for a staff meeting).
