Notice of Surplus Property Sale
Pursuant to Chapter 3.20 of the Mendota Municipal Code, the City of Mendota will conduct a sale of surplus property no longer needed for City operations.
Property Valued Under $100
Items valued at less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) will be sold on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Mendota Public Works Yard, 912 Marie Street, Mendota, CA 93640. A list of these items may be obtained by contacting Mendota City Hall, 643 Quince Street, Mendota, CA 93640, or by calling (559) 655-3291 during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
Property Valued at $100 or More
Items valued at one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more will be sold through a sealed bid process. Bids will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Mendota City Hall, 643 Quince Street, Mendota, CA 93640. Bid forms and envelopes are available at City Hall. The envelope must clearly state that it contains a bid for surplus property.
To schedule an appointment to inspect property valued at $100.00 or more, contact the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall or by phone at (559) 655-3291 during regular business hours. Please note: entry to City property for inspection will not be permitted without a prior appointment.
Terms of Sale
All items are sold as-is, where-is. The City is not responsible for any item once sold. Buyers are solely responsible for inspection prior to purchase and for removing and transporting all purchased items.
