NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF MENDOTA
REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, on June 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, the City Council of the City of Mendota will hold a public hearing at a regular meeting at the Mendota City Council Chambers, 725 Riofrio Street, Mendota, CA 93640 to conduct the following business:
- PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A REQUEST TO THE FRESNO LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION IN THE MATTER OF ANNEXATION OF APNs 013-050-45S AND 013-061-09S, submitted by Yamabe & Horn Engineering, Inc on behalf of Gurbir Sapraj and proposing the annexation APNs 013-050-45S and 013-061-09S, totaling approximately 39.11 acres. The subject properties have previously been prezoned and identified as a Housing Element site. Pursuant to the City and County Memorandum of Understanding, the properties may be considered for annexation prior to approval of a development project. Annexation of these properties is consistent with the City of Mendota General Plan and is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15183.
- PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER APPLICATION No. 25-03 CONSISTING OF TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP No. 25-02, submitted by Cris Robles on behalf of Maria De Lourdes Santiago Hernandez and Josue Aaron Contreras and proposing to subdivide APN 013-104-03 into two parcels of approximately 7,500 square feet each. At its regular meeting on April 28, 2026, the Mendota Planning Commission by a vote of 5-0 forwarded a recommendation of approval to the City Council regarding the tentative parcel map as well as a finding of exemption from CEQA under CEQA Guidelines Section 15315, Minor Land Divisions.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the time and place specified above to give testimony regarding the proposed actions listed above.
