NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, on August 6, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, the Planning Commission of the City of Mendota will hold a public hearing at a special meeting at the Mendota Council Chambers, 725 Riofrio Street, Mendota, CA 93640 to conduct the following business:
- PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER APPLICATION No. 26-78 CONSISTING OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, submitted by Dionysos Stefanopoules, on behalf of the Aeronot Design, and proposing to construct a new Catholic Church building of approximately 9,594 square feet on Assessor’s Parcel Number(s) 013-150-23 & 013-150-30. The site is located at 1073 Naples Street, Mendota, CA 93640, is approximately 7.23 acres in size, light industrial, and zoned M-1. The existing structures have been demolished. The Planning Commission will consider the Conditional Use Permit, as well as a finding of exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15332, In-Fill Development Projects.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the time and place specified above to give testimony regarding the proposed actions listed above.
