NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF MENDOTA
REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, on August 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, the City Council of the City of Mendota will hold a public hearing during its regular meeting at the Mendota City Council Chambers, 725 Riofrio Street, Mendota, CA 93640. Members of the public may also observe and participate remotely via Zoom Webinar. Zoom Webinar access information is available at www.cityofmendota.com. The purpose of the public hearing is to conduct the following business:
The City Council proposes to undertake proceedings for the levy of the annual assessment of the Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District No. 2019-01, which applies to the entire boundary of Tract 6218, also known as the La Colonia subdivision, pursuant to Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California (Section 22500 et seq.), generally known as the Landscape and Lighting Act of 1972. A copy of the Engineer’s Report for the Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District No. 2019 for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 is available at www.cityofmendota.com.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the time and place specified above, either in person or remotely via Zoom Webinar, to provide testimony regarding the proposed actions described above. Written comments may be submitted to the Office of the City Clerk at 643 Quince Street, Mendota, CA 93640.
